Wolfson Fertility Centre is a specialist fertility and reproductive medicine clinic located in Hammersmith Hospital, London, specializing in IVF, ICSI, pre‑implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and the full spectrum of male and female fertility treatments; the centre also offers menopause care, recurrent miscarriage management and reproductive endocrine services. Established in 1982 by Professor Lord Robert Winston, it was one of the first UK units to perform PGD and benefits from a close partnership with Imperial College London, giving patients access to pioneering research, clinical trials and rapid‑access fertility preservation for cancer patients. The centre reports high success rates – 23 % live‑births per embryo transferred overall and 30 % for patients under 38, exceeding the sector averages of 28 % and 33 % respectively – and provides NHS‑funded cycles where eligible, private consultant‑led pathways with rapid first‑consultation appointments, open evenings, chaperone provision and a quality‑focused environment.
